I am an Argentinian multidisciplinary visual artist currently based in Scotland. My artistic journey has spanned continents, with studies in Argentina, Spain, and the UK, culminating in a Master’s in Media Graphic Design from the Edinburgh College of Art. Over the years, I have developed a diverse body of work, ranging from life drawing and observational studies to collages and mixed media paintings.
Central to my practice is the interplay between beauty and discomfort, where my work seeks to confront the viewer with a mix of emotions and thoughts. I create art that embraces ambiguity, where associations collide and meanings evolve. Space becomes time, and language transforms into image, capturing the fluid, ever-changing nature of perception and truth. I aim to present images that question the very conditions of their existence, inviting the viewer to reflect on how contemporary visual culture shapes our understanding of reality.
Beyond the formal aspects of my work, mental health and psychology play a critical role in my practice. The complexities of human emotions, the internal struggles we navigate, and the subtle shifts in perception deeply inform my creative process. I believe that art holds a transformative power, not only for the viewer but for the artist themselves. Through my work, I explore the intricacies of the mind and the ways in which mental states influence how we relate to the world and to each other. Art, for me, is a way to channel and communicate the often unspoken, providing a space to explore vulnerability, healing, and personal growth.
Ultimately, my art seeks to provoke thought and self-reflection, offering a mirror to the complexities of the human condition. The truth may be elusive, but it is in the multiplicity of perspectives that we begin to understand the depth of our shared experience.
